''Note: I started thinking about [[10 Print in a visual context]], but I'm more excited about creating a visual essay that explores the graphic forms of the program on a few different platforms and lets each platform push the form in various directions. This is my true expertise; I'm at the opposite end of the authorial spectrum from the bona fide academics here. I think this could be a wonderful 8-16 page break from textual analysis and can provide an equally valid, but different perspective. Note: I'm excited about creating a visual essay that explores the graphic forms of the program by iterating on the C64 and exploring what's possible on a few different platforms. I think this could be a wonderful 8-16 page break from textual analysis and can provide an equally valid, but different perspective. It can be formed as image and code pairings or only full-page images with the code in an appendix. Or, images without code. It could be a solid block of pages or interspersed throughout. I think a number of these images might need to be included elsewhere in the book is illustrate the text directly. They could be featured larger here, or the text could reference this location.
